[SOLVED MM5] song key [#7181]

Not solved. As of November 4, 2018 we are still on MM4.1.23.1881 (Not MM5 as the previous post said over a year ago).

Any updates on this feature request? It would be great to see & sort by KEY in MediaMonkey. Is there a way to display the KEY information from songs analyzed in Serato?

Hi,
Initial Key will not be implemented in MMW only in MM5. As Baseline we used MixedInKey, have you tried MM5 and does it import Initial Key Correctly?

This will be a welcome feature when MM5 comes out. Among the apps mentioned by others, the app beaTunes calculates the song key. It will be nice when MM5 can read those values into its database.

from what i see beaTunes uses non standard tag and info on Song key so it is up to them to make it written in standard format and TAG
