I'm just following up on some ideas that had been proposed about playback/shuffle, sorry for the delay.

I see your point, but am not sure whether some users would be annoyed by having a persistent setting become disabled on it's own.

Do you still feel this way after having had more experience with Shuffle mode?

Yes absolutely, I think now playing should be fully flexible for user to "play around" with, and always play "as displayed"

Any sequences user wants to save for re-use should go into a playlist.
