Understood. Could a possible workaround be to use a Genre tag (Best of 80s Metal) for this purpose?

Yes it coul be a workaround using tags..
however the real problem is that I then use MMA ONLY and exclusively in the car, via android auto in my volkswagen. Unfortunately MMA used in the car does NOT allow you to browse through Folder. I can only browse by Artist, Music Genre and, yes, playlist!
