Export several m3u playlists at once.

Post by George V »

I use playlists within Media Monkey, [many of them] and export them -one by one- for use with dj programs like pcdj and Virtual dj.
This is a pain because i have to to this every time i change something in
MM database, and also MM ask me during m3u export to give a file name.
(for every playlist already exist in MM database).
So, my question:
Is it possible to export all the playlists already exists in my MM database
at once -with their original names- using a scrip, or may i ask for this
as a new function (in another forum).
If yes, can somebody help me ?

I hope it becomes part of MM

This functionality has been requested in the forums before. But as part of MM itself.
The great thing is that MM keeps playlists in the DB and as such allows for autoplaylists. Playlists don't become outdated this way. Unfortunately it becomes really hard to export tracks.

Probably a script could do this job as well, but I believe it should be part of MM itself. A nice new popup window when exporting playlists could take care of all the different functionality.

Many users use playlists with portable players, on burned MP3 cd's and with other apps.

I didn't see that it was requested before, lets hope to see something like
this in the 2.2 final version.

Missed it

I missed that one on the wishlist, I added it: http://www.songs-db.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=842. An indication of what we can see in MM 2.2 is lower on the same page.

Please include this feature on the final MM 2.2
(script or integrated)

Exporting several playlists easily for use with
Dj mixing programs is VERY important, i think.

Thank you.
