MMW5 2024.0.0.3018 Renders JPGs Incorrectly

I am playing a FLAC album from 2018 to see the following album art:

It is Folder.jpg that MMW5 is having issues with. I open this same file using Windows 11 Photo viewer, and it displays with no issues:

The same JPG image renders okay when displayed from within the FLAC tag:

This looks like buggy JPG rendering.

Is it all JPGs for you, or just the one?

This one fails to render correctly. This is the only one I have found. This is an issue I have seen for several versions, but this is the first time reporting it. As I mentioned elsewhere in forums, I am now increasing album art size. The issue for this particular JPG is related to the size increase. A smaller size of 700x700 renders properly.

Since you are using the Chromium engine, this is a peculiar issue. Chrome renders JPGs properly. I suspect it's related to being too cheap with memory.

It may have been cached incorrectly once, and this now continues to be an issue. You could attempt to delete the Thumbs folders where this image is cached.

Album art gets stored in the database as a BLOB. It's not stored in the temp folder. The Covers table holds it, and this table was emptied by me a couple of days ago.
