Hi,
Been a trusted MM user for over 20 years, only moved now to MM5. Like the results of the new auto-tag capabilities, but find it more complicated to use. In MM4 one could deselect specific tag categories to exclude from update, e.g. artist, year etc.
In MM5, it seems I have to deselect every single line item if I want to keep an original value???
For many of my compilation mp3s, auto-tag is killing the individual artist name to replace it with various artists (although that's already the album name), so I would have to click on all songs to retain the artist name. That's impossible to do for a large database, any workaround?
Thanks
Jochen

Ok thanks, but when you do batches of a 100, some you may want to have the artist checked and tagged, some not.
Ideally, there would be a tick mark by album and column to select which autotags to retain.

That's not possible, it's either selected for all, or deselected for all.
You can however click on the Artist result and select the old value to keep.
