MediaMonkey 5 shows just a splash windows, then nothing

Hi all,

I'm new to MediaMonkey but I was glad to find a product to manage music that's not iTunes.
However, I can't get it to run. Or put more accurately, it runs (there are four processes active in Task Manager), but apart from a splash screen and an item on the task bar, the program doesn't show.

I've downloaded the application multiple times, installed and uninstalled it and run it as a portable app as well as an installed app. I've also tried to run the MediaMonkey_NoGPU.bat alternative to no avail.
Also run it as an administrator.

I'm on a Windows 10 machine, 22H2 (build 19045.4291). Anyone any ideas?

Unfortunately not. The exact same scenario.
Edit: Actually, that's not quite true. With the other release I saw the application in the task bar. Now I only see in Task Manager that there are fout processes running.
