How to check whether tags updated

I've gone through my music library in MM5, and have made all of the updates I wanted to. I have clicked "Update Tags and, from File Explorer, can see that the file has been modified. However when I right click a file and view its properties, all of the metadata fields in the Media section look blank. I attached a screenshot of the Properties window and my Tags & Playlists settings.

Is this the right place to look to confirm whether the tags have been updated with artist/album/etc info? If not, how can I confirm the data within the files themselves have been updated and will be seen in other applications?

File Explorer can be unreliable in showing tags. One way to check is to make a copy of a modified file and then check with MediaMonkey if it sees the tags. If it also fails, the tags haven't been saved.
