MMA does not read Extended M3U playlists.

Post by goldcyan »

Hi
Please help. After syncing all of my playlists from my computer to my phone, I made sure to choose "Use Extended M3U" this time. When I tapped Playlists on my phone after synchronizing, I watched as "0 tracks" instantly replaced each of my playlists one by one.

Hi,
What is the device in Question, I tested on Moto Edge 40, Moto X4 (with Lineage 20[Android 13 based]) ANd in both cases Extended M3Us are read correctly by MMA.

Pleas enote taht Relative paths and Linux Paths needs to be selected, also on MMA I disabled watch changes from otehr apps in playlists settings. That way MMA Playlists are controlled by MM5 not by Device implementation of Google Media Scanner.
Best regards,
