Hi,
I like keeping multidisc numbers in the Album Field, so I can keep all of the discs in separate folders.
I had been doing this manually. If the set was 4 discs, I would highlight all titles on disc 1, go to properties and change the album to "Woodstock [Disc 1], Woodstock [Disc 2], etc..". Then I'd use Organize and move them to separate folders.
I just noticed that I can easily add the disc number into the \<Album><[Disc <Disc #>]\ format. That saves me a bunch of time, but how then do I re tag using the information in the album folder -- it's only the folder, not the tag. I need the tag and the folder+disc (if it's over 1, btw).
I cannot figure out how to properly use the auto-tag function.
Thanks

Re: Adding Disc # to Album Name
You can use \<Album>\ to get Album [Disc#] or use \<Album> [<Disc#>]\ to get the data into their respective field when using Auto-Tag from Filename.
Note that the problem with using Disc# in the Album tag will duplicate this in the folder if you run Auto-Organize Files again on the same files.
