MediaMonkey says my phone has no File Manager after Update

Post by mattnorman »

Hey! I'm new to the forums but did a search and couldn't find my particular issue. I have a OnePlus 8t running the latest stock Android 13 update (OnePlus version KB2005 13.1.0.580. I'm using the phone for my child and to have some phone permission limits on it but double and triple checked that MediaMonkey has storage permissions and even permission to make changes to the system. When I go to add folders to my initial setup I try to grant permission and am told that Google files is not installed and it gives me a link. Not only is Google files installed and updated but the OnePlus File Manager is installed as well. It's like the app can't see the file management apps on my phone so I'm unavailable to add any media folders. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Thanks for any suggestions...

Matt
