Shuffle capability question

If I select Artist, and that Artist has more than one Album. can I expect Shuffle to select arbitrarily from all the albums, and not just one Album at a time?

Yes, it shuffles tracks not Albums.

Well, it's not shuffling between albums. It only shuffles one album at a time.
Perhaps I need to select Shuffle differently? Currently, I select Artist, then swipe up before I tap the Play Arrow and enable Shuffle. Then I tap the Play Arrow.

I sat there and kept hitting the Next (track) Arrow, and it won't break out of the first album. It started to replay tracks it had already played.

Select Artist to view? You need to execute the Shuffle Play command at the bottom right (build 1091).
