Can I restore Wifi Sync Button back onto the Home screen?

I have just been upgraded to V2.0.0.1073. Has the new v2 MMA being officially released?

Can I restore the 'Wifi Sync' button back onto the "Home" screen. I had a look around and couldn't see how to do it.

Not released. Still in Beta.
I don't know how to restore the Sync button to the Home screen, but it is available in its new place in MMA.
Press the three line hamburger menu at the top left of all panels.
That takes you to the vertical half panel. and the Sync button is under the MediaMonkey icon.

It caught me by surprise, I didn't put my hand up for the beta version. How does that work?

Sync has been moved to the menu location from the Home Screen (there is no option for it in MMA 2).
