V1074 - Back browse by year

Play store just updated me to 1074. "Back browse by year" This is not the sorting feature by year that I have been waiting on?

What did you expect?

I think what some, including myself, have been requesting is the ability to SORT by year. For example: Select an album artist, genre, or playlist and sort albums or tracks by year.

MMA has only offered alphabetical sorting which is a major limitation in functionality, in my opinion, so I still hope this eventually becomes a reality.

Sorting is still planned for a future release, but didn't make it into the current release.
