Hi
I have numerous songs which appear on various compilation albums. To save space on hard drive is there anyway where a song may appear on other albums that itcan be cross referenced to the one single file but still appear in the various album listings?
Cheers

MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF A SONG

That would certainly be nice, as this way you could have complete albums in MM without actually having copies of the file.
The problem I guess would be that this can't be stored in ID3v2 tags.

Re: multiple instances
one song, multiple albums would be good. There are lots of odd ID3 tags, perhaps MM could just commandeer one.
If you are using WIN XP you might want to read around on the forum as you can create links to files in XP that MM can use.
You also have the custom fields available for you.
