[REQ] Drag-and-drop selected files into minimized right panel via icon: "Show: Right panel"

Post by guapo »

A thing that has come up and is already being tracked is the limited width available in both, the main panel as well as the side panels due to the fact that it is not possible to have playlists and the playing list under/above each other.
So a workaround to that is to keep the playing list on the right panel and keep it collapsed while you comb through playlists. It would be a good thing to open the side panel via its icon ("Show: Right panel") while you have a section of tracks clicked and dragging.
What I mean is: search and select songs in the playlist. Drag and hold, then move the mouse over the icon of the (collapsed) right panel with the playing list. Then, upon hovering over the icon, the right panel rolls out and you can drop the songs wherever you want them. Currently this task needs a couple of clicks which are prone to lose the selection. After selcting the tracks, you need to open the right panel with a click, then move back to the playlist, and click on the selection, then drag-and-drop them in the right panel. Is there a way to script that?

Hi,
do you mean the "right-panel" with "Edit in playlist panel" feature or do you mean right-panel with the "Playing list" :
