Hi,
after the latest update I've noticed situations when editing files where the hotkey Shift+Enter for editing the tags/properties sheet no longer works. Right-clicking and choosing properties still works though, but is obviously not as useful. Kind of annoying as I do a lot of editing.
I've not yet been able to figure out a way to reproduce this. It happens after editing some files, maybe after importing new files or using auto-organize.
Just thought I'd hear here if anyone else has experienced this?

Re: [4.1.28.1905] Losing ability to use Shift+Enter for properties sheet
Hi Pathduck,
I've experienced the issue on and off. It seems to be sporadic with no rhyme or reason. For me it came back, usually on it's own, and always after a restart.
It's just one of the nuances that I've learned to live with.

is the keyboard connected (wired) or not. Sometimes keys can act oddly when batteries start wearing down.

Thanks for the replies!
Yes keyboard is definitely wired. Although on my system I also have another wireless keyboard. But at time of seeing this earlier today, it wasn't connected. I also have multiple monitors connected, so that might play a part, maybe...
And pretty sure this started happening after the latest update.
I guess I'll have to find a consistent way to reproduce it first...

Yes, I don't even know how to reproduce it myself. But I will definitely try.
Maybe if you could look if any changes in the latest updated could be related?

Or if something else on your system is hijacking this.

Hi,
I use two keyboards: laptop-keyboard and Logitech-wireless-keyboard K270 with battery.
This key combination works with both keyboards.
I would do the last update again.
Restart the computer.

Next time you try Shift+Enter and it didn't work, please try another Shortcut (Home, End or Shift+Control+Enter). If no other Shortcut work, you have lost the focus to the MediaMonkey window.
If it didn't work, how do you fix it after that? Reopen Mediamonkey or clicking the mouse elsewhere?

Re: [4.1.28.1905] Losing ability to use Shift+Enter for properties sheet
Thanks for the reply. Pretty sure I had focus on the MM window at the time, since I use the keyboard for nearly everything. So I was likely using Shift+arrows to select tracks and pressing Enter as I've always done to enter the properties sheet.crap_inhuman wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 2:55 pm Next time you try Shift+Enter and it didn't work, please try another Shortcut (Home, End or Shift+Control+Enter). But you may have a point, next time it happens I'll have a check if the window somehow loses focus when pressing Shift+Enter.
After it happened I would have right-clicked the selection instead so that would've brought focus back to MM. But I also try to use the context menu key as much as possible, and I think that still worked. I'll have to reproduce it I guess...
