UPnP server not listing all directories

Hi
I have a NAS server with a main folder music - all subfolders are by artist.I paid to upgrade the android app on my mobile to enable UPnP streaming in my kitchen. I can connect to the server - open "Music" - then 'by folder' - open Top level NAS folder - some music subfolders are now listed - however only the sub folders created in the last month are listed (8) .
Any ideas

Which DLNA Server are you using and do other Clients so more content or do they all fail to see more content?
