Removing id3v2.4 frames from all tags

I need to modify all of my tags so that there are no id3v2.4 frames, specifically RGAD, TDOR, and TDRC.

This topic: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... AD#p351560 discussed the issue with the RGAD frame, however, I wish to preserve the TXXX frames that store replay gain.

According to this knowledgebase article: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... year--date you can disable frames TDRC and TDOR.

So will disabling RGAD the same way work, and if so, will it leave the existing TXXX frames?

The changes would be made by adding the following to somewhere in the .ini file (I assume it does not matter where):

DisableFrames=TDRC;TDOR;RGAD
EnableFrames=TYER;TDAT;TORY

Once this .ini change is made, do I need to force MM4 to update all my tags to remove RGAD, TDOR, TRDC, and EnableFrames for TYER;TDAT;TORY? Or will it update them all automatically?

Hi,
Best way would be to try on few tracks. I think that MMW will ignore tracks already having those tags but remove all tags and save again should fix that case also.
