Just wondering if this script is still working. I just installed it and I'm getting 0% success rate (that is, 100% FAILURE) on every single thing I try. Even on extremely well-known songs.

Anybody know of any plug-in or script that tags music using the same method of music waveform identification as Soundhound or Shazam?

I'd really like MusicIP to work,,, I have tried many tracks,,, Music IP searches and always comes up with NO RESULT.
This search for IDTag info wo be ideal as we really need on that works

Well MusicIP no longer exist, it was bought by another company, and that company has no published API for it.

From the Wikipedia about Acoustic Fingerprint:

MusicBrainz also used MusicIP's Open Fingerprint Architecture for fingerprinting and the AmpliFIND (formerly MusicDNS) service for identifying audio files since 2006, but is phasing out AmpliFIND in favour of the open source AcoustID, after AmpliFIND was acquired by Gracenote in 2011.
