Sorry, i don't get it. Could you please send me a screenshot?

Thank you for the screenshots.

You should use the Discogs Tagger only with one release.

The Script can only find releases. If you search for a song the script will show you all releases containing this song.

What i notice in 5.31.
0. Great choose string of artist/album/release
1. Not strong suggestion when i search in my love [quick search] bar Artist-title, only manual choose the release from top, which i don't like. don't like search manually.
2. Became visible the releases, that not contain requested parameters as [artist-title].
2. Rolldown to 5.30. because not strong seach.

99. I want to know how i can change default search suggestion from [title - album] to [artist - title] quick search string?
in some cases it is useful? my answer. I search many tracks and albums, so if [album] title is 'none' then tagger search only with [artist] tag, without affecting useful tag - [title] . so what i offer. When album is 'zero' ('none') then search additional the [title]. [or create this option in preferences]

100. when i click on a "Tibet Team Frankfurt vs. Paul Holden - Sungate" track with 'zero' [album] tag tagger search results is "Tibet Team Frankfurt vs." :D

new feature request* - on a lates tagged releases create list of suggested discogs links Technolab - New Fusion (Radio Edit) - http://www.discogs.com/release/42986 and parse the tags not avialable in mp3 or flac, like a country of release. hey and i see the link field is avialable in vorbis and mp3, but not insert. )

anyway it's a great and very helpful tool! love it!

I improved the search part of the script. Now it should work for you. I just released v5.32
Please leave me a feedback.

I have a feature request which might or might not be simple:
When artists start with The, I tag them as ArtistName, The. This format is supported by discogs and is their default display mode of artist names.
Seeing as not everyone does this, could you add an option to store artists with The in the end? It's kinda annoying to constantly have to tick off artist and album artist from the selections when this happens.

Also, many times the artist link to discogs doesn't work, especially when they have The in the name.
And it's also happened a few times that I click on the artist, the browser opens up. Then I close it and I click on the album link and nothing happens. I have to close the window and search again.

Adding this should be simple.

What Do you think About the New search in the script. It is now easier finding releases?

Personally, I've never had much problems with searches. On the few cases where it can't immediately detect the album, I just open discogs, search manually and insert the release number in the search bar.
I do this most on deluxe or limited editions with extra tracks when the album is a popular one. Searching through 20+ releases to find the one you want is accomplished easier on the browser than the plugin.

The only thing that annoys me a little in the search is when the results return completely different stuff, like searching an artist/album and it shows 100+ results of completely different artists/albums where there is nothing in common with either. But I suppose that is a discogs issue.

I check old and new version of script.
so i used three functions "artist"/"album"/"artist/title/album" search, so "artist/title/album" used in 98 of 100 tracks. "artist" used 2 times. (maybe create this three buttons avialable only after check the option)

for DJSamhein - use Load: Versions of master - faster way to search deluxe version of release.

If i can't find the release i open the browser, find the release, copy catalogue number, paste it in tagger and release then find.

(still request to "artist-title" default search)

Maybe you get different stuff when you search for common words like Him - Break it down (a fiction song) ;) ?

Done. :)

Please send me the wrong url and the artist name if you get into this bug again.

The script search the complete discogs database for the search string if you choose "artist/title/album".
I added an advanced search button into the script, please try it out. Searching for a title works only at discogs.
numero wrote:(still request to "artist-title" default search)
The script now search for artist-title if the track you search for has no album-tag.

Right now, when an artist has The and I use the option to move it to the end, the artist link will stop working (it should only change the text and not the link, I guess).
The artist link also fails on multiple artists, for example, r6149749, Aidan Baker / Thisquietarmy.
Also, when there are multiple artists with the same name, for example, Dominion (r1986706), it will open the first one.

Mostly this is just mildly annoying, as you can simply open the album link and follow the artist link from discogs. Other than this, I have no complains about the script. It's really useful and one of 3 I use most often :)

Thank you for reporting it. I don't know, why i'm not using the artist-id from discogs. Now the script open the right artist. I release it very soon.
