CD Art Display

Post by onkel_enno »

Years ago I listened a lot to Music using MediaMonkey and CD Art Display.
What happened to CD Art Display? Is there still any development, couldn't find anything on the web.
Do you now any alternatives? Version 3 seems not work anymore (with Win10).
I'm looking for somthing like this (always visible on the desktop, in front):

Thanks.

Check out Rainmeter. It has a Now Playing plugin and a wealth of skins or make your own as it's highly customisable. Works well with MediaMonkey.

Thank you.
It's not as perfect as CD Art Display was (Click Through but Rating was possible too), but its better than nothing.
Half Star Rating doesnt seem to work too :(

I'm using Rainmeter for years, here's one (of dozens) skins that work fine with mediamonkey

Some questions about this rainmeter:

Is it possible to make your own skins?
Are fullscreen skins possible
Is it possible to project every MM tag with rainmeter?

As far as I know it depends on you as the creator of a skin/theme what can be projected

So yes, own skins are possible, every MM tag I think too, if you know how to realise this. But a fullscreen skin? maybe this helpf http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14386
