I really do not know that can be the problem as On other Computer with Win98 all goes alright You could try Win98SE Unoficial Service pack (Search forum) that is only difference that I can see.

sorry for my bad english
I mean: when will the script be updatet so i can use the new feature of MM (dockable panels). I hope you understand me now

Nochmals in German:
Jetzt nachdem die neue MM Version die dockable panels unterstützen wäre es doch schick wenn LaunchSongInfo.vbs diese Panels unterstützen würde. Ich weis jetzt nicht ob dies überhaupt geplant war oder ist.

Is Detailed Song Info Panel still being developed?

Post by MCSmarties »

Hello,

I don't mean to sound pushy but from this thread I gather that some functionalities (like docking and customizable appearance) would be implemented after MM 2.5.2 was released.

Is this still true?

I absolutely love this script but would much appreciate if I could make the window broader.
In particular when looking at lyrics, the song info panel is just too narrow for me!!

It would be great to integrate that into MM further
Pushing a button in the main screen to expand or collapse the info panel (kind of like winamp does it for equalizer and such) would be awesome!

I'd love to hear about any news. Thanks and keep up the great work!!

I know for a fact that work either has already begun, or will very shortly, on making this a dockable panel. Don't forget that psyxonova has been very busy with his ScrobblerDJ script though! :)

Allright!! Guys, you are just great. Really.

Like I said, I really don't mean to be pushing here.
I'll gladly take whatever comes! I was just curious what the status was, that's all.

Thanks for keepig my hopes up ;)

Just came back from vacations and i wanted to inform funs of this script that implementation as a dockable panel is almost ready.
Some bugs still occur and some tweaks are still needed but otherwise everything works allright.
So expect a new version in the near future

This new version (1.20) of the panel adds the ability to be displayed as an internal MM dockable panel...
Nothing else has really changed (yet)....

Under Tools-->Scripts you will now find 2 entries, one for launhing the panel as a dockalbe one and another to lanch is as a standalone....
Use what best suits you....
That is for now, sxpect more soon

You can download new version here

PS: If you get activeX promts use the procedure descibed by TrixMoto in several of his posts to disable them

I get a couple of errors in the dockable mode.

1) WScript error: DockInfo.vbs, line 59, col 4 (no details, just an error).

2) IE error: SongInfo.htm, line 238, char 11, "Object required: falbum"

I get the second one when I use the player buttons on the panel, although they still work! :)
