showing picture when no album art is found

Post by wallstreetwalker »

is there an easy way to show a picture when no album art is found.
i've seen you can change the background of the tree and the now playing windows, but not of the album art window.

i guess it would be possible by editing the skin, but isn't there an easier way?

thanks

Actually it can be. Just place your image to Icons\NoAArt.png folder.

Jiri
it was in on the forum after all. couldn't find it at first though.

it works, thanks.

BTW: are there more tricks like this,
what else can i put in the icons folder?

EDIT: found one more for changing the splash screen (shown at startup)
A modified splash screen should be shown if you put it to Brand\Splash.png (jpg should work as well).

Jiri
works fine, thanks.

another for not displaying any splash screen. right click the MM shortcut and edit the target to:
Target>> "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\MediaMonkey.exe" /NoSplash
works great, seems to be just 1 second faster 8)

question: can i put multiple files to show when no album art is available, so it chooses one of them at random (or based on mood setting or something), this would be great
