Media download quiery

Post by fysty-1 »

Sorry but am new to this site but not new to MM. I'm sorry also as I couldn't figure out where to post this query. Just got new 'puter with Win 8 & had to download MM all over again but this time it is a paid subscription. Must say that of all the Media layers that I have had over the years this past year has been a delight. My query is do any of you fine folk know where this old broad can get a decent site for downloading free music. As a X Musician this goes against the grain but time has taken it's toll & I can no longer afford to buy ,buy, buy. lol I am trying to put together play list of the 50's, 60's 70' &80's with those divided in to a number of sub-categories for genre, such as Rockabilly, R&R, Disco, Blues, Country. & Rock. I am one of these strange old birds that loves pretty much all music(except opera). It would be great if MM had a subsidiary that did this. Thanks so much for your help. Cheers Angela :) :)

All my friend's kids download "free" music and I am always having to go deal with all their computer problems. Free is a relative term. A good source for music is to hit up estate and garage sales for cheap used music.

Thanks PP as this is something I have been warn about by my young Niece. Thanks for the advice on the estate sales etc., but I don't get out much anymore due to physical challenges but I keep a pretty close eye on Fleabay. Have gotten a couple of pretty good used albums there abouts. Plus all the new stuff I purchase there. Cheers Angela. :D
