Playlist Sync from MM8 to MM

my mp3-files are stored on my fritz-nas. it´s possible to play them with mm8 and also with mm4. when i create playlists with the notebook, i´m able to sync with my surface. is there a way to sync playlists i create with my surface to my notebook or my ipod?

is it possible to sync playlists from mm8 to mmw? from mmw to mm8 works fine...

In MMW (make sure you're on 4.1.1.1703) you can setup Auto-Sync (--> Library) to sync items back in the Device Profile (Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync).

thank you for the information. my problem is, i only want to sync the playlists and not the files - they are on the nas. when i choose "auto-sync new files and playlists from the device to the pc", some files are syncing but not the new playlists. from mmw to mm8 it is possible to sync only the playlists without files. i want to use my surface as frontend to create playlists, which can be synced to my ipod with mmw.

I'm not aware that MMW > MM8 can only sync Playlists. As far as MM8 > MMW I haven't tried it (neither for MMA > MMW), but my understanding was that Playlists could be synced back (assuming files on Playlists were synced MMW > MM8).

i would like to have the possibility to export mru-files with MM8. syncing is much more complicated and doesn´t work as it should (i payed for it!)...
