playlist compatible with itunes,anapod

I have used mediamonkey only a few hours.
Seems like a good program.
But when I synched my ipod with MM all my old playlist on the ipod was erased.
Is the MM playlist compatible with itunes,anapod?

Winamp 5.2 pipod support is not itunes,anapod compatible.

I usually use "on the Go" playlist on the ipod.
It is not so fun when these playlist are erased after a synch.
