External exception 80000003

Post by Flint4 »

Hi

I've got an exception 80000003 after listening di.fm internet radio for over three hours. The issue occurred spontaneously, I haven't done anything on the machine before the crash happened. I have no idea why it happened. The di.fm audio stream was in 128k AAC format. I’ve sent the debug log. Maybe you guys can see what the problem was. I don’t think there is a possibility to reproduce it. I was using MMW build 1688 debug edition, gold registered.

Off-topic: Would it be possible to add a “Back” button to the details-screen of the crash reporting functionality, where you can see detailed data to be submitted? It happened to me several times that I forgot to type in the details about the crash first, before looking at the submission details. This button would be very helpful.

Cheers
Alex
Best wishes,

Is that crash related to memory space? I have eight gigs installed, a Win7 desktop widget shows me that memory stays around 50% normally. When the error happened, the computer was not running out of memory.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a file stuck in ram, and that program will allow you to clear ram without having to reboot system, all you do is double click it to run it from the system tray. You have to start it at boot up to have it running automatically, but you can click on its icon to start it.
