MM Playlist won't synchronize to IPod

Hello, I've been using MM for years, currently on MM 4.0.7.1511.

I right click my playlist, send to iPOD (Synchronize) and see the message Copying to iPOD (Copying 1 of 5 ..... but nothing progresses beyond that and no files get copied over.

I'm doing the same as I've always done> please advise

Hi Lowlander, 4GB iPod nano 1st or poss. 2nd generation. I deleted iTunes a long time ago as MM gave me all I needed

Then there should be no problem. Are you sure the device and the cable used are still in working order?

Seems to be but I'll doublecheck and maybe do a factory reset with iTunes. I'll report back

I deleted the playlist and recreated it. Seems to work ok now - maybe I had somehow corrupted the corrupt playlist.
