Timeline dosen't work while Streaming

Post by Doppellhelix »

Hi there,

i am using MM 4.1.0.1616 on a Win7 Home Plattform.

The Straeming to a DLNA/UPnP Renderer works really fine.
But if i stream, the Songtimeline dosen*t show me the actually time from the Song.
The Timeline dosen't show me anything.

Ist this a Bug?

Greetings from Germany.

Please update to build 1683, you are using a very old beta build.

I can't reproduce it. What are your exact steps?

I have a similar experience. Both my Samsung TV and my Samsung home theatre system cannot pause, skip forward, or rewind when it is accessing MM's DLNA server. Both devices work perfectly when accessing other DLNA servers. I have also used Windows Media Player to access MM's DLNA server and that worked perfectly.

For me the problem seems to be specific to the combination of Samsung clients and MM's server.

Streaming to my Samsung 'smart' tv works well. I don't have the model number here but it is only 2 months old. 32inch. When i get back to town in a week i will get the model if that is needed

Hi,

first i choose a song from the playlist. Then i make a rightclick on the Player and choose the Renderer (Teufel Raumfeld One).
Then i click on the Start Button. The Music plays.
When I click on the Start/Pause Button again, nothing happens.
I can only Stop the Music, by closing MM.

By the way, clicking the next Track Button, MM plays the next track für ca. 2 Seconds and then switches to the next Song fpr 2 Seconds and so on, and so on.

Hi, because it is not reproducable for us on Samsung and other models that we've tested, then we need to see debug log to see what is happening on your model,
please generate the log (item 4B here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341 ).

Hi Ludek

I have uploaded a debug log here: https://db.tt/EbD0JaV4

The log was generated while playing a video on my Samsung F6670 TV using the following steps:

1. Start MM
2. Turn on the TV and go to its DLNA player.
3. Select the MM server and navigate to a playlist.
4. Select a file and start playing.
5. Attempt to fast forward and attempt to pause (though I don't think this will show in the log since the TV had already determined that the functions were not available).
6. Stop playback and turn the TV off.
