Syncing two PCs

Post by natakk »

Hi there

I'm using one notebook with MediaMonkey installed and all my music locally stored to listen to music when I'm away.
Further I've an Windows Server at home. Now I would sync all my music and the hole MediaMonkey to this server. So that my
family can listen to music too, when my notebook isn't at home.
AND I would like to sync playlists, playcounts, lastplayeddate with this devices!

So if I listen to track #1 on my notebook once and at home someone listen also to track #1 once the playcount after sync should
be 2 on both devices!

Is this possible with MediaMonkey installed on this two devices?

Thanks a lot for your support!

what I forgot to write:

another possibility for me could be to buy an NAS (with DLNA) for at home use. syncing to the NAS should be no problem
for MediaMonkey. But does any NAS supports sync of statet attributs? (playcount, lastplayeddate, etc.)

No, but several forum topics discuss how to accomplish this anyway.
