Playlist order on Sandisk player

Post by pokeyjones »

I have a simple sandisk MP3 player that DOES NOT accept playlists. I want to be able to change the name of the file in the process of the transfer to match the order of the songs in the playlist. So track #1 on the playlist would become "01 - song name" (regardless of the songs track # on the album it came from).

I tried using "<Auto Number>" (in RC4) but it just added a 000 before each track, any ideas?

Also, does the conversion conert MP3 to WMA? If so I need to make a purchase...

1. <Auto Number> works Ok with me, so if I sync 100 Tracks they all ways have prefix 001-100 before Artist and title. Could you put little more info What Plugin did you use and its settings.

2. Yes, MM can conver MP3 to WMA appon Sync if you set it in plugin "Auto-Coversion" settings, becide that MM can Convert all MP3s to WMAs if used Rip/Convert Feature of MM.
