Podcasts as part of a playlist

Post by Yerushalmi »

Hey folks,

I've noticed that, if I have a playlist that contains both podcasts and regular songs, MM will never play the podcasts while on shuffle. When not on shuffle it does fine, plays everything in the order it appears, but the only way to get it to shuffle through the podcasts as well as the other songs is to start it off playing a podcast. Even then, however, it will shuffle through all the files only until the first time it plays a non-podcast song, at which point it gets stuck in the non-podcast songs alone again.

Anyone know why it's doing this and how to stop it?

That's because by default MM ignores all podcasts when shuffle is on. This is configurable in the Podcast filter.

File > Manage filters > Podcasts > Configure > Options tab, uncheck 'Ignore shuffle'

And if the configure button is disabled because I don't have MediaMonkey Gold, I guess I can't do it? Is there maybe a plug-in or add-on or something?
