Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]
Scroll through the pages, I'm almost positive Trixmoto posted a fix for that.

This appears to be it.trixmoto wrote:@Aidan - ooops, this means I forgot to fix the artist name in sql, so line 175......should be...Code: Select all

Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]
That worked great. Thanks.

It isn't this a bit...dangerous for system stability?paulmt wrote:If you have tweaked the MyComputer part of your internet security setup to allow activeX then this fix has been successful for some.
In windows 7 there isn't a "1201" value...only "1200"... It's the same thing, or what else?paulmt wrote: 1) Run regedit.exe
2) Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0
3) Modify key 1201 = 0
This sets your "My Computer" zone setting (which is not displayed in the Internet Options) to Enabled.

This was brought up a few pages back. I just used the "search this thread" feature.

Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]
Interesting thing just happened today. All of a sudden, some MR skins don't work; the skin loads but no information is displayed and no statistics are displayed upon "stop". MR has worked flawlessly for awhile and this does not affect every skin.
Any thoughts?

I've had that happen to me many times with some third party skins. I've been able to fix it by replacing the skin.html file with one of the ones supplied by the skins which come with the script.

Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]
In version 4.1 I tried not to break any of the existing "skin.html" files, but I might have done. Unfortunately the next version will require all skins to be rewritten, which I know will be a bit of a major task for me as well as others.

Nyn,
What do you mean by third party? All my skins are ones that people have made for MM or those same skins I have modified; the first one that I noticed didn't work was a Noir MR skin, it worked the night before. I've not had any problem with MR working in the past so I'm not sure why this would show up.
Can you tell me more about changing the skin.html file?

What I mean is any skin that was not a part of the skins that come with the script. Just copy the skin.html to the folder of the skin you are having trouble with and then select it the normal way. If it is already selected, you will have to select something else and then re-select it. This usually fixes it for me.

Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]
Nyn,
You know from some of my past posts, I'm not as up to speed on some of this, so here are more "huh" questions.
I looked in all the MR skins and they all have a skin.html file, and it seems they are all unique. So where do I find the skin.html file you want me to copy?
For example, animated Noir used to work just fine, now it doesn't, and it has its own skin.html file. Which file am I supposed to copy into the animated Noir folder to make it work?

I usually copy the one from the animated folder. I have not run into any problems with them using the sin.html from the animated skin.

Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]
It's occurred to me that I have no idea who the "second party" is, but I'm the "first party" because I'm the developer of the script and any skins which are not included in the MMIP file are what I meant by "third party" skins. Skin files will all be different, but the "skin.html" file should be the same basic structure, the layout might just be different.
