poEdit error when updating DB.po from POT file

Post by arg0 »

Hello,
after loading DB.po in poEdit, when I choose click Catalog|Update from POT file and selecting the english DB.pot I get a dialog box with the following poEdit error: "Couldn't retrieve information about list control item 3."
The same error dialog pops up again and again, so the only choice is to terminate poEdit.

The same error also occurs when I try to update DB.po of another language (I tried Italian and German). On the other hand, I have correctly loaded, updated and translated install.po and default.po. So the error might depend on the DB.pot file.

Anyone succeeded in updating DB.po?

Do you have the latest poEdit downloaded? Maybe this could be the problem...

Rusty wrote:Hi,

I've updated the localization files for RC-1. Changes are:
-fixed problem with DB.POT file
-fixed missing localization strings in the about dialog: "License:" and "Lifetime to"

The files are at their normal location of: http://www.mediamonkey.com/contrib/loca ... -local.zip

Do you have the latest Version of mm-local.zip
2.4.1.862a: Fixed several minor errors including bad DB.POT file
