Issue with 1140 on start

Post by cadmanmeg »

So I downloaded and install the newest beta and it won't even start. I just let it install over my last upgrade which was the 1134. Anyhow, I have attached images of the errors below. I will also state that I couldn't even close the error box to move on and had to forcably shut down the program. I ended up just installing over this update back to 1134 and now I have no issues again. Anyone know what this error code is, how to fix it, and/or why it occured? Thanks much.

This second image shows a pop up I got when I tried to reinstall my old update of 1134. Basically I just hit ignored and it kept on and upon opening MM3, it seems there are no issues so I am not sure what that was about. Ideas?

Thanks much.

I have the same problem. Trying to use the latest version to make my iPod Touch work, but it hangs on startup. Deleting the "d_iPhone.dll" file makes it start, but naturally prevents synchronizing with the Touch.

...forgot to say:
This is using Windows Vista 32bit Ultimate (in english), and both with and without the Apple mobile device service running.

Solution for me: reinstall iTunes.

This error happens when trying to re-install/update mm while there is an instance still running (possibly a crashed one).

Check your windows task manager processes list and close any extraneious mediamonkey processes before trying to install/update.
