I think its making me nuts. I have loads other things (Study + work etc) I should be thinkin about but my brain keeps coming back to your script!!

Dale - The new version now works for me (thanks). Unfortunately, only a few of my albums are actually displaying the album art. The art is stored in the tags and is visible in the album art panel but not in PP. Any ideas

spoke to soon. closed down mm3 and reopened it and pp just started flickering and crashed mm. oh well.

that's bizarre.. are you sure that MM closed properly.. in the past sometimes MM hasn't closed properly for me and when I've opened it again it's popped up the same window and then closed like it was supposed to.

I ended up removing it on my home desktop. hopefully there's some workaround posted for the issues I was having soon.

If I open MM and select PP from the View menu, the PP pane is displayed and immediately begins flickering. MM locks up and freezes. I have to force an MM shut down and reopen it.

hi gab, can you try something.

If you can, got to tools / options.. and down the bottom, click on the prettpictures settings node (you might not be able to do this because it will automatically open the PP window).

in here, set:

Smoothing during minimise and maximise = 1
Smoothing during opening and closing = 1

click apply window settings.

If you can't do that, then find your Mediamonkey.ini and change these settings:

smoothWindow=1
smoothWindowVisible=1

if you're on vista, the ini file will be somewhere like:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey\

let me know if that makes a lick of difference for ya.

Got it installed on Vista with the new update. When I click on the album art it doesnt nothing. Even If I right click it and go to album.

no.. no solution.. I've tried a number of things..
It's really off my chart... if anyone can test it out.. or has someone they can ask that might know, please do so..
I guess we really have to get as many details as possible from those affected to find the common cause of the problem.

My problems :
Settings do not change/save
Cannot browse to album/artist
PP does not reopen sometimes
Think thats it... or rather thats all i paid attention to

OS : Win XP SP2

My apologies if this has been posted before, but I didn't notice it...

Pretty Pictures seems to put all artists with leading "The"s into the "T" section - is there a sort option that can override this?

Dale, does PP uses the Java platform? I thought it was a flash-kind of stuff.

The images in pretty pictures don't seem to be the same quality as the original folder.jpg file. Is there way to improve the quality of the images ? Currently they all look grainy.

firstly, thanks Dale for this.

I'm currently loving MM3 having come back to it from WMP11. I'm trying out everyones scripts - thanks all for all the effort. My query is installing Pretty Pictures....Being a bit of a novice I'm having a little drama installing PP. I've extracted the folder to MM\scripts and I've tried different configurations of what I've put into MM\scripts\auto - but it either has no effect or I get a little window on top of MM in the top left hand corner. Any ideas?
