Thanks for the light version, not many good options when it comes to those. Dark themes hurt my eyes :(

I like this skin very much. I think it may be the one having me switch from Vitreous which has some contrast issues for me.

Some observations:
Selected tab in Art & Details window isn't visible
I miss a stop button in Player
Window title (MediaMonkey) is cutoff (MM bug?)
Album - Artist display in Player is short forcing scrolling. Maybe with smart placement it could be given more length?
Player buttons (Continuous, Shuffle & Playlist don't have nice hover effect when off)
Player button (Volume) don't have nice hover effect in either state
Player Volume button is hard to set to 100%
Title and both times in Player could use more contrast
Textarea has different border color than text boxes (seen in Properties)
Tree border is different than options border (seen in Options)

Hi Lowlander

I suspect you still run XP and talk about the light skin version,

To say the truth i made a blind skin session about the XP stuff,
without testing,at the moment i run only Win 8.

I think the most items i can fix,
for the Play Buttons hover effect ,its default Win 8 Metro style.
Volume slider works fine for me , most time i use the Mouse scroll wheel to adjust.

Album - Artist line :
this is a general problem on centered layout skins special on small screens

Yes, Win2003 actually.

That is a good workaround. I have the same problem rating tracks 5 stars, it is tricky to do, I often end up with 4 1/2 stars or no rating. I hope the developers improve on that.

Don't have a small screen, but loads of text often. I just wondered about this one like moving player buttons up a nudge and Album - Artist down (move Rating to first spot) so it could use full length. Although then you run into Title not having the same treatment.

As for the hover it feels weird that Player (Next, Previous, Play do have hover effect while white, whereas the other buttons don't when they're white.

On the light skin the bomb rating isn't visible.

Hm , I run into some problems with my win 8 machine,
MM won't start in XP compatible modus, so i have to run a non Aero design to test.

The comment window we can't skin ,same as Lyrics window
Lowlander wrote:Tree border is different than options border (seen in Options)

This is a strange thing , because on win8 it looks ok, but i think i was able to fix this,
also MM title and Icon stuff

Player:
I think it make no sense to adjust the Title areas to win some pix more,
and it was a long time wish from me to made a centered player buttons layout player ,so i don't want to touch the layout!

But i already start a new series from smaller players with centered info area,
this have more space for long text entries, maybe this fits more you needs.

Please can you test this version for the theme relevant stuff ( borders ,icons ,tabs and title )
If they work i update the current skins.

1) Options dialog border - fixed
2) Bomb rating - fixed
3) Buttons hover - fixed
4) Volume hover - unfixed
5) MediaMonkey Title - fixed

The Player included doesn't seem to be correct as it is a text centered layout (not sure if you meant to do that). If you're taking suggestions on it I'd prefer to see the Artwork expanded and the Seek bar made smaller accordingly (actually I'd rather see it made larger in the original player too, but it is perfectly aligned with other elements already (bummer)).

Ok,looks like the theme bugs are fixed ,so i can update the skins.

If you mean by Volume hover , the same button behavior ,it's simple not possible to have a hover effect on volume background ,
at last i don't know how.
But i hope on some improvement on this , similar to the popup volume slider in Metro App's.

Yeah, I meant that. No worries, none of the issues raised are big problems.
