Questions
Which version do you prefer designwise?
Do you need the seekbar in the MicroPlayer (Tray-player)
I have once suggested you something like Alternative #2 to iTunes skin microplayer, but at the time you said it was "a bit messy".
Time went by and, yes, now I also think a seek bar is too much for a microplayer.
So, Alternative #1 is my choice.

And, BTW, it's looking GREAT! It even has a Stop button!!! Congrats.

Morten,
In A8 I've noticed a small artifact in player area, when MM is maximized.
Don't know if this happened in previous builds too...

See below:

Thank you for the comment.

Regarding your problem, it'll be solved in the upcoming build (Beta 1, planned on Sunday).

I'm glad you like the MicroPlayer skin. Remember you'll also get to try an anti-aliased MiniPlayer skin as well. :)

I think you should ditch the volume and request being able to mouse over the micro player and then use the mouse scroll wheel to change volume.

Then maybe you could have a numeric display of the volume.

I don't know about that really. I'm sure it could be well implemented somehow, but it's a new feature and we don't want that for 3.0. Petr could maybe implement it in the next version (3.x)

Although, I think I maybe have found a solution for this;

Version #3; (with SeekBar on top)

And then it's;

Alternative #1 (without Seekbar):

Alternative #2 (with Seekbar):

I think I agree with you 100%.

I think version #3 is the best so far.

I also agree with that. The thing is I'm on school right now, but when I come home I'll try switch the placing of the mute button and VolumeBar. I think there are too many buttons bundled together, and I like the balance of Version #1.

Edit: Made it in Paint anyway

There you'll experience the latest addition to this skin. Happy monkeying!

I really like the implementation on B1. once again, congrats!!

I think its a good balance on the designer's all-time duality: form and function!

Really sweet skin Morten :D
The micro player looks sweet, but since I use Litestep I can't use it :cry:
Anyway, I was thinking if it would be possible to include a rating panel at the miniplayer?
I think if you would do it like ther rating panel from the mainskin it won't hurt, maybe at the left half around the play/pause button, or at the bottom.

I'll see what I can do KingKong. However, there musn't be too "crowdy" in the miniplayer. Refined, yet powerful is my goal with this skin.

I love Glided, however a version with different colour buttons (specifically blue) would be nice. Other than that I love it!
