If you select the option to "Always show the tray icon" and then minimize the program, the tray icon disappears.

Re: Option To Always Display Tray Icon is Broken
It isn't broken. Tray icon doesn't display when the microplayer is activated, because all tray features are available from the microplayer.

That still seems broken, in that "always" should mean just that. If "always" means "except when microplayer is active" that should be clear. And, I'm pretty sure that it used to stay visible actually always, in v1 or v2.

Re: Option To Always Display Tray Icon is Broken
It did, but the decision was made by the devs that it was pointless to duplicate the tray icon when all the functionality was available from the microplayer when it is showing. there is Mantis bug entry that specifically states the tray icon should not show when the microplayer is there.AndySocial wrote:That still seems broken, in that "always" should mean just that. Re: Option To Always Display Tray Icon is Broken
It may reduce confusion to change the option to not say "ALWAYS" then, eh?
Mantis bug entries aren't user documentation, are they?
