1209: Drop down suggestion field shows unused values
When editing track properties for ex. Artist for a track, the drop down suggestion values shows values that are currently non existent in the library. These values may have been used in the past but not any more and I checked all existing Artist values under 'Accessible Tracks' playlist.
Re: 1209: Drop down suggestion field shows unused values
When running File > Maintain Library with the remove unused Artist selected this should no longer happen. Can you confirm that after running it you still see the unused values?

Still getting unused values even after using 'Maintain Library' function which removes unused Artists and Albums.
Re: 1209: Drop down suggestion field shows unused values
Never mind after exiting and restarting MM, unused values no longer appear.
Thanks Lowlander.

You might want to look into a certain option to prevent this in the future. Tools -> Options -> Library -> "Remove unused Attributes (Artist, Album, Composer, ...)"
Check if that's checked off. That should remove any unused artist or album entries if their tracks are deleted, which should prevent these "stale" artists from sticking around in the future. If this is selected, perhaps there is an issue with cleaning out these entries?
