Drop down lists [3867]

When you type a letter whilst a drop down list is open nothing happens. Usually a Windows app moves to the first item in the list of the letter you type.

This was fixed in one of the old betas of version 2 but dropped off in the final release.

Can we have this feature back as every windows app i know has this feature and it makes for quicker navigation of a large list.

I'm not sure that this ever worked when the dropdown is open (it works when the dropdown is closed though).

It's on the todo list, but probably post 3.0.
