Hi, many times newly imported files will have unnecessary info such as numbers used to indicate the sequence of a song as it appears in an album. Also, some imported files have other unnecessary clutter in their 'Filename' and YES this can be addressed by individual renaming of each file, but the task is very time consuming when a number of files are involved. If possible, editing of data within a 'Filename' would be very useful.
Thanks.
Better editing of the 'Filename' field.

Tools > Auto-Organize Files does that: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... enames/4.0
You can also edit the Filename manually in the Filelisting and Properties dialog and there is: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... lit=regexp that may be of help.
