Support Video Files

Post by Raiden » Mon Mar 17, 2008 11:55 am

Would be great if MM can also handle Video Files, so we can sync with ipod Touch or PPC.

Afterall, Media is not only Music :)

Thanks!

Sorry, I did not see it in the official request list.

Anyways, I would also add to be able to handle pictures. (And of course, resize them before sync to devices)

Thanks!

Video support would be highly appreciated. But somehow i feel adding image support too (with editing tools) would unnecessarily make it extremely bulky and (most) probably increase the bugs.

Perhaps a diff (but on similar lines) tool all together to handle images would be good.

I would be very happy about picture support too!!!!!!!!
But i think, like the music, the mokey should concentrate to administrate the media (that it's strenght), not to edit them. For pictures it would mean, it would be perfect to resize them to synchronize them on mobile devices, and also a dia-show feature would be great. But i don't think the monkey should start to add functions like red-eye cancellation, and other stuff like that....

Like the ID3-Tag of music, it would be great if you could browse/search/... your pictures through information of the EXIF-Data...
Add information like place where the photo was taken, which persons you can see, which mood (nature, people, architecture, sea, ...). And many many more.

So you could easiliy search pictures just like:
>>all pictures of my 'last holidays', showing my 'girlfriend', and mood 'sunset' for example...

Thats really a feature i dream about as long as i know the monkey. It was one of my first thoughts... wow couldn't that be great if one can handle pictures that simple, like music...

Perhaps one day.... ;)

I agree....

A program, especially with the name "Media Monkey", should support all of the major forms of media....Audio....video....still images. Those are the big three.
