I often like to listen to music by genre. In the old version I could drop down all the genres in the sidebar, and click a genre to see all the songs in the main window. I could then select a song or shuffle the genre.
In the new version I click genre and see all the artworks for each album in the genre in the main page. This makes it much more difficult to find a song within a genre. When I click an artwork it shows me songs for that album. I can then click a song to play just that album, or there is a button to shuffle the genre. I can not start shuffling the genre from a certain song which I was able to do in the previous version.
Basically: I liked the old view more. Is there anyway to change it back?
Thank you

You can enable Show all sub-nodes: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... 0#Settings to get the same as in MediaMonkey 4.

I may be wrong, but I don't think that answers the question being asked.Lowlander wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 3:02 pm You can enable Show all sub-nodes: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... 0#Settings to get the same as in MediaMonkey 4.
In MM4 you could change the View using the View menu.
This has changed in MM5. Look for the thing at the right of the funnel on the toolbar. It probably looks like this.
That control will toggle you through the MM5 views. Or you can access them via the dropdown control which is next along on the right.
In MM4 it was called Show Details. In MM5 it is one of the List views.
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
