How to sync new tracks only

Post by Daesy »

Hi, im very new to MM

I'm attempting to rip some CDs and want to sync them to the SD card in my walkman, but it seems to recopy everything, creating duplicates, rather than just 'syncing' the library with the SD card, like I used to be able to do in iTunes

Also, when I'm syncing, there is the dashboard at the bottom which tells me amount of audio, other, free space. Is there a way for me to see what 'other' relates to in my library?

Thanks!!

Sync should only copy changes (files changed and new files). How exactly are you Syncing and which version (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using?

And you're using Sync Now in the Device Profile to do the actual Sync? Which build of MediaMonkey 5 (Help > About) are you using? You may want to try build 2416: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d

I just attempted to download that version, and it seemed to work, but it's telling me still that I have version 2416

That's the latest release available.
