Brand new to MediaMonkey here. Up until a few months ago I used my old Mac laptop & iTunes to manage my music. I'm trying to move to having my music library on Google Drive and accessible both on my new laptop (a PC) and my phone. I was interested in trying to preserve my old playlists, and I have them both as a single XML file export from iTunes and I used a piece of software to convert all the playlists to M3U files. I tried uploading these into the Playlists folder that MM uses on Google Drive for its own playlists, but it has completely ignored these so far. I can't seem to get it to recognize them. While I can, in theory, edit these playlists, I am looking for a scalable batch solution if possible since I have a number of playlists. Any ideas on why it's not recognizing them?
Here are samples from two of the M3U playlist files...
This is what the playlists I'm trying to import (which MM won't recognize) looks like:
# M3U Playlist generated by PlaylistExport ([link removed to avoid issues with the forum] ericdaugherty [end link])
../Music/Unknown Artist/Unknown Album/01 Track 01 1.mp3
../Music/Unknown Artist/Unknown Album/02 Track 02.mp3
../Music/Unknown Artist/Unknown Album/03 Track 03.mp3
This is what a MM-created playlist looks like (stored in the same place on Google Drive, and recognized by MM):
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,02 Can't Deny My Love.mp3
..\Music\Unknown\Unknown\00 Unknown - 02 Can't Deny My Love.mp3.
#EXTINF:193,02 Cold Waters Theme.m4a
..\Music\Unknown\Unknown\00 Unknown - 02 Cold Waters Theme.m4a.
