How do I make the Library jump to what's currently playing?

Post by husbeast »

I'd like to remove the "Playing" views and just see my library. I want the library to move with what's currently playing so I can see all of the library details and edit them.

The Library can't be set to move along with playback, this is only available in Playing. There is the General: Focus tracklist on currently playing file Hotkey that can be used (setup under Tools > Options > Hotkeys).

Note also that you can configure the 'Preview' window to display most of the metadata associated with the playing/selected track so that you can edit it. This is configured via:
Preview Window:Menu > Layout... > Advanced > Gear icon

And if you want the fields in the Preview window to be editable (instead of hyperlinking to related content)
Preview Window:Menu > Allow edits
