Hello,
I am migrating to a new computer from Win7 (MM4) to Win 11 (MM5).
I have seen a few forum posts where people are reverting back to MM4.
Is it reccommended to go to 5 or 4 at this time?
I believe I backed up my /appdata/roaming/mm.db and .ini file.
I want to make sure not only my 60,000 mp3 library gets pushed over in addition to my playlists.
Any advice on either going to MM4 and avoiding MM5 or to straight from MM4 to MM5.
Thanks!

See what's changed: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... 7s_New/5.0
It's up to individual needs which version works better. For me MediaMonkey 5 has been my daily driver for a long time.

When MM5 became a public beta I got it and started using it. It is a big change from mm4 but I think it is overall for the better. You can bring all things over in the install process and things work well. BUT ... if you are using a lot of addons in mm4 OR you rely a lot on addons ... you should stay with mm4 as there are basically no addons available at this time for mm5. at least none of the big ones. Except for that mm5 has been great for me.
