Analyze Volume > Memory BUG

Post by HSHARE »

When analyzing the volume of a large (or any) volume of tracks, memory is NEVER released. It is then inevitable, given enough tracks being analyzed, that MediaMonkey will crash. It has crashed on me multiple times. I now know that I must analyze volume in small chunks of tracks to prevent the app from crashing.

Please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 30&t=86643 This will allow developers to analyze why this happens in your setup.

I also cannot replicate, analyzed volume for 1000 files and memory did not go over 270 MB.

So please generate the log and be sure that you are using _Debug build: https://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/MediaMon ... _Debug.exe
while generating the log.

Thanks!
